'Living Things' One-Page RPG

What if you could bring life to mundane objects? What kind of personalities would they have? What kind of mischief would they get up to? 

In ‘Living Things’ you set off for a wondrous adventure in the comfort of your home, garden- or perhaps even your office!

You begin by grounding yourself in your environment and mapping your ‘Place’. The Place becomes the setting of your stories, an enormous world of adventure inhabited by the ‘Peeple-folk’ (that’s you and me) and the ‘Living Things’ who are brought to life by our imagination.

Once you have your Place, you find a characterful object that inhabits your Place- this will be your ‘Living Thing’ (or ‘Thing’ for short). Your Living Thing will take on a set of skills that will help it face new challenges and survive in the enormous new world it has found itself in.

Once your Thing has started to come to life you set them off on an adventure in their new world! Their first adventure could be as simple as finding something to eat or looking for a place to sleep, or as complex as finding new friends or escaping into the mysterious ‘Outside’...
